Start/End Campaign
A campaign is considered a Current Campaign as long as today's date falls in between the Start Date and End Date. The campaign must be current to be available in the Campaign field when you add a new pledge or a new donation. A Campaign record cannot be deleted if any related transactions (pledges, donations, etc.) have been applied to it.
Start New Campaign
1.Click "New Record" on the Campaign Query screen or on an existing Campaign record
2.Populate the required fields: Campaign Name, Campaign Activity, Start Date and End Date
•You must enter at least one Campaign Activity. If you do not want to track specific activities, you may use "Miscellaneous." More activities can be added later.
3.Click "Add New Record"
4.Populate other fields if desired (Manager, Fund, Purpose)
•First Receipt, Last Receipt, and Last New Member fields will populate automatically when donations and memberships are applied to this campaign.
5.Click "Save" in the Edit Bar at the top of the screen
End Campaign
Once the End Date has passed, the campaign will automatically become a Past Campaign. If you need to end a campaign earlier than the current End Date, you may do so by changing the End Date.
1.Click "Edit" in the Edit Bar at the top of the campaign record you wish to end
2.Modify the End Date so that it is a date in the past
3.Click "Save" in the Edit Bar at the top of the screen
