Converting an Incoming Loan to an Accession

If the lender decides to donate the loaned items to your institution's permanent collection, it is possible to convert an Incoming Loan record to an Accession record. This process will create a new record in the Accession catalog with all the donor information you already entered, linking the contacts in the Donors Grid to the new accession.

Convert an Incoming Loan to an Accession

1.Click "Convert to Accession" at the top right of the Incoming Loan Record screen

2.Fill in the Accession No

3.Click "Convert Now"

4.The new Accession record will appear on the screen. Populate the fields as desired. For more information about Accession records, see Accessions.

•All the items listed under the Catalog Records Accordion on the incoming loan will now be linked to the accession record.
