Editing and Printing Temporary Custody Receipt and Thank You Letter

After your donors are selected, a Temporary Custody Receipt letter may be printed for each contact to confirm receipt of the items and to state the terms of custody for the items. A Thank You Letter may also be printed. Templates for these documents may be set up first to speed the process, see Accessions and Loans Documents.

Edit Temporary Custody Receipt and Thank You Letter

1.Click "Edit" in the Edit Bar at the top of the Temporary Custody screen

2.Click "Documents" in the Donors Grid for the donor for whom you are editing the document

3.Choose the document you want to edit from the drop-down list

4.Customize the document on the letter screen as needed

5.Close the pop-up window

6.Click "Save" in the Edit Bar at the top of the screen

Print Temporary Custody Receipt and Thank You Letter

1.Click "Documents" in the Donors Grid for the donor for whom you are printing the document

2.Choose the document you want to print from the drop-down list

3.Use the "Email", "Save as PDF" or "Print" options to produce the document in the desired format

4.Close the pop-up window

5.Click "Save" in the Edit Bar at the top of the screen
