Returning an Outgoing Loan
When the term of the loan has ended and all items have been returned, you will want to record that on the Outgoing Loan record. After you return the loan, it is considered a Returned Loan on the Outgoing Loans Query screen.
Return an Outgoing Loan
- Click "Return this Loan" at the top right of the active Outgoing Loan screen
- Fill in the Return Date
- Click "Return Now"
- The loan record will appear on the screen as a Returned Outgoing Loan Record
- All the catalog records associated with the loan will then appear in the Catalog Records Returned From This Loan accordion.
- The "Item on Loan" hyperlink on the catalog records will be removed, and the Loan History for each catalog record will be populated with the Loan No, Loaned To, Out Date and Returned date.

Recall a Returned Outgoing Loan
If an outgoing loan was returned by mistake, you can recall it back to the Active Loans section.

- Click "Yes" to confirm
- The loan record will appear on the screen as an Active Outgoing Loan Record
- All items will be moved to the Catalog Records on this Loan Accordion, except for items that have been placed on another loan. They will remain in the Catalog Records Removed From This Loan Accordion.
