Data Backup

PastPerfect Web Edition is backed up automatically every night. However, there are times when a user should make a backup immediately before making changes in the software. For example, a backup should be made before performing a global location change. If changes are done incorrectly, PastPerfect staff will be able to restore the backup made before the changes were performed.

Create Backup

1.Go to "Utilities" on the Main Navigation Bar and select "Data Backup"

2.Click "Create Database Backup"

3.While the backup is being created, the Status will display as "Processing..."

4.The Status will change to "Ready" once the backup is complete

Download Backup

Users with a Role of Administrator can download backups.

1.In the Name column, click the link of the backup you want to download.

2.While the backup is downloading, a loading icon will appear to the left of the link.

3.Depending on your browser settings, the backup file may download automatically or you may be prompted to select where to save the file.
