Pledges Field Descriptions

Field Name

Description

Amount

Total amount of pledge.

Balance

The remaining balance left on the pledge.

Campaign

The Campaign that resulted in this pledge.  This field is controlled by a drop-down list.

Campaign Activity

The Campaign Activity that resulted in this pledge. This field is controlled by a drop-down list.

Collected

The amount collected towards the pledge.

Date of 1st Payment

The date the first payment to the pledge was made.

Date of Pledge

The date the pledge was made.

Fund

Name of the fund to which the pledge is made. This field is controlled by a drop-down list.

Fund Code

Each fund must be assigned a code. Each code can be assigned to one or more funds.

In Honor of

The In Honor of field is used to record the name of a person, organization, or entity that the donor wishes the pledge to be made in honor of.

In Memory of

The In Memory of field is used to record the name of a person, organization, or entity that the donor wishes the pledge to be made in memory of.

Last Paid Date

This field is automatically filled with the date of the last pledge payment.

Notes

The Notes field may be used to record any additional information about the pledge. There is no limit to the number of lines or they type of information recorded in this field.

Number of Payments

The total number of payments that make up the pledge.

Payment Interval

Interval for pledges may be annual, semiannual, quarter, month, biweek, week, or single payment. This field is controlled by a drop-down list.

Pledge No

The unique number for the pledge. This number is automatically assigned when the pledge is entered.

Received From

This field records who made the pledge.  It is linked to the Contacts drop-down list.

Solicitor

Record the name of the person responsible for soliciting a particular pledge. This field is controlled by an authority file.

Thank You Letter Sent

The date the Thank You Letter was sent.

Write Off

The amount that has been written off and will not be paid by the donor.
