Web Edition provides a variety of ways to search for records.

Quick Search

Quickly find catalog and contact records using the Object ID, Object Name, Contact ID, or Contact Name fields. For more information, see Quick Search.

 

Full Catalog Search

Search by Lexicon

Search using PastPerfect's Lexicon to find catalog records. For more information, see Search by Lexicon.

 

Queries

Query screens allow you to perform complex searches on your records based on the contents of selected fields. By selecting a field, a condition, and then the text or values you are looking for, you can retrieve specific records. You may add multiple filters to do a complex search using the AND or OR connectors.

Simple Search

Found on Query screens, the Simple Search allows you to search by only a few identifying fields based on the record type. This search can also be done after performing a query to further narrow results.
